Abstract:With the deepening of the global value chains, trade in added value has become a research hotspot in the field of international trade. This paper constructs model of factor proportions, technical difference on value added exports, and makes an empirical test with Sino-U.S.bilateral trade data.It shows that the factor intensity and factor abundance of high-skilled labor and capital, as well as relative productivity have positive effect on China's added value in exports.High-skilled labor proportion significantly promotes the added value in exports, while capital proportion does not. What's more, factor proportions have different effects on different industries' added value in exports. Therefore, it is essential to promote China's added value in exports by optimizing the export structure, increasing the proportion of high skilled labor input, adjusting the capital flow structure and reducing the technological gap.
