HUO Jingdong , XIA Jiechang:Influencing Factors of Offshore Outsourcing of Service: Theoretical models, Empirical Research and Policy Recommendations—Based on Analysis of the Panel Data of 20 countries

Abstract: Outsourcing of service has the characteristics of high value-added, low consumption of resources, little pollution of environmental and it can also promote the industrial restructure. This paper uses international input-output data of 20 countries including India, China, and Ireland which are major destinations of service outsourcing to analyze the factors affected the offshore outsourcing of service. The results show that:(1) the level of human capital is more important than the cost;(2) business environment plays an important role in service outsourcing;(3) information infrastructure, capital costs, and exchange rates also influence the service outsourcing.
