ZHAGN Bin, Ph.D. in economics, focuses his research on public finance and taxation in China. Dr. Zhang works as an associate research fellow in IFTE, CASS where he is the head of the Department of Taxation Studies. He also takes some academically important positions, such as Secretary General of Research Centre on Public Finance and Taxation, Council Member of Chinese Finance Society, Council Member of Chinese Tax Institute, Academic Committee of China International Taxation Research Institute, etc.
During the last decade, Dr. Zhang has led and worked as key member in more than 20 academic research projects funded by National Foundation of Social Sciences, CASS and other organizations. Dr. Zhang has many academic achievements in field of public finance and taxation, including 5 books and more than 30 journal papers.
