Dr. XIA Xian Liang, who got Ph.D. in the Graduate School of CASS in 2000, is an associate research fellow. Dr. Xia focuses on IP economics and international trade. He has taken part in projects such as “Improving OFDI Policies Support System ”granted by National Social Science Fund, “International Financial Crises and Switching Foreign Trade Pattern of China”, “International Trade Environment and Policies System Improvement”, “30 Years’ Reform and Opening up in China”, “Chinese Private Enterprises: Development, Environment and Policies” granted by CASS. His major works are “On the Knowledge: Intellectual Property, Knowledge Trade and Economic Development”, “On the Nature of Intellectual Property”, and “Sino-US Trade Imbalance, RMB Exchange Rates and Global Economic Rebalancing”.
