LI Yongjian received his Ph.D in economics at graduate school of CASS in 2003. He has conducted extensive research on growth and productivity issues of service industries with several books and numerous papers. His works include The Loser and The winner: 2010-2030 the World Top Power, The Emerging Reverse of Financial Market, Institution Change and the Growth of Service Industries in China ,Greeting the Era of Service Economy, Growth, Unemployment and Public Policies. Li has published more than 30 papers in academic journals like Economic Perspectives, Finance & Trade Economics. Li has participated in over ten important research programs like "China's modern service industry participated development strategy" of National Social Science and "Planning for Service Industry in China" of the National Development and Reform Commission. He has also contributed in service industry’s planning work of cities like Harbin, Haikou, and etc.
