Abstract: This paper concludes that there are three basic characteristics of Marx international trade theory. The first is the nature of practice, as it is based on practice, comes from practice, serves practice and evolves as practice develops. The second is the class nature, as it is declared that Marx international trade theory serves the interest of the working class and working people. The third is criticalness (also known as militancy), as it criticizes, inherits and develops the international trade theory of classical economics.
