Abstract: This article gives a description of inter-provincial trade and international trade development in the Yangtze River Delta manufacturing, then examines the effect of inter-provincial trade and international trade on economic growth with the data of Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai in the input-output tables from 2002 to 2007. This article concludes that the inter-provincial trade and international trade have a positive impact on economic growth, but economic growth effects of inter-provincial trade is greater than those of the international trade, and economic growth effects of inter-provincial and international trade on low-tech industries are greater than those of the high-tech industries.
