Welcome to National Academy of Economic Strategy, CASS

Founded in 1978, National Academy of Economic Strategy, CASS grows together with China’s effort of reform and opening－up. Over the past three decades, generations of NAES people made great contributions to almost every step in China’s economic and social development.

Positioned as a national academic think-tank, NAES today commits to increasing its academic and decision-making influence through researches on national financial and economic strategy. NAES has now grown into an academic institution covering multiple economic fields, particularly in finance, trade research and service research.

Looking into the future, our goal is to become a solid foundation for Marxist finance and economics research, a top-notch research institution of economic strategy in China, and a think tank for communist party of China and Chinese government. 

It is the dream and aspiration of every NAES scholar to apply their research findings for the benefit of their motherland and its people. Putting ideas into practice is the spiritual home of all NAES people.
